In April, the CCEE collaborated with Kidzu Children’s Museum for their weeklong “Pop-Up Museum” at Hillsborough Elementary, providing the community free access to some of our most exciting technologies. In addition to designing activities for each technology that could challenge and engage elementary age students, many of our MEITE graduate assistants volunteered at the event. They spent several hours showing the kids the tech in person and providing take-home guides introducing the technologies, providing enrichment activities as well as lower cost alternative technologies for interested parents.
