On April the 24th, we had our first field trip with off-campus students! 16 McDougle Middle school students came to the CCEE for four hours to enjoy the tech we had to offer. During their time, every student had the chance to explore virtual reality in the HTC vive, learn about circuits with a MakeyMakey vegetable piano, code robots to race through obstacle courses, learn to use visual code to build tracks for Ozobots to follow, explore Augmented Reality with Merge Cubes and Quiver, write an hour of code in Swift Playgrounds and design 3d models in TinkerCad. With so many things to do and explore, it was an energizing learning experience for all.
