In pursuit of fostering international education, the CCEE supports students and teachers in their endeavors to found and sustain Model UN clubs at their schools. To that end, in collaboration with the CHCCS district and the West Triangle Chapter of UNA-USA, the CCEE organizes an annual Chapel Hill-Carrboro Middle School Model UN Conference.

The first conference took place in April 2010. You will find a report on this event following the first Related Link on the left. The Fourth Annual MUN Middle School Conference in Chapel Hill-Carrboro was held on March 15, 2013 at the CCEE (see Related Link).

In close collaboration with the Education Outreach Committee of the UNA chapter, the CCEE is providing help to local MUN clubs:

• Carrboro High School
• Chapel Hill High School
• East Chapel Hill High School
• Cedar Ridge High School, Hillsborough

Every year in November, the CCEE in collaboration with the  UNC UNO club organizes a one-day miniMUNCH conference to provide new members of local high school MUN clubs the opportunity to train for conferences in an informal setting.
